Who will read or hear what you’re writing.

The audience is the reader or readers that will either read or listen to the information you are presenting. Before taking this course I didn’t think the audience mattered. However, with the assignments professor Carr gave us I realized how important the audience is because it can change the way you get your point across.

When working on our assignments throughout the semester we would first identify who our audience would be. From there we would do research on them and then choose the best way to present our information. To do this we were required to submit an Audience Analysis sheet.
