Enhance strategies for reading, drafting, revising, editing, and self-assessment
When working on all assignments during this course drafting, revising, and editing was always done. We were required to submit a draft in which our classmates and professor would look over and leave comments and or questions. This was always helpful as it helped me with grammatical errors, spelling, and plagiarism.
While my classmates and professor played a huge role in my edits being able to properly conduct self assessments helped me improve my work. Before this course I was more of a once I’m done I have nothing to worry about, all I would do is go back and skim through it. This course made me realize the importance of actually going back and reading over your work. What I do now is complete my draft without making changes, from there I would read my work twice, the first would be to make big changes and the second was to look for smaller mistakes.
