Throughout the years I had always used MLA format, this was the first time I had used APA. As it was something new I had to get used to it. While I was learning how to properly cite my sources in APA format I also learned the importance of proper citations and how crucial it is to ensure that any work that is not yours be cited. We not only went over the correct way of citing sources to avoid plagiarism but we also learned the proper punctuation for quotes.
