Kinds of writing 

Genre is important, it can not be chosen independently. Once you have determined your audience and purpose you can choose the appropriate genre.

Throughout the course, we worked with 4 types of genres: Memorandum, Technical Description, Lab Report, and an Engineering Proposal. All of these assignments can be found in the “Revised Assignments” menu on the top.
